I found this while researching Lichtenstein for 20th Century art history, and I’ve been meaning to scan it for some time. The book has to go back to the library tomorrow so now seemed like the time. The lady is Dorothy Herzka, his wife. She is dressed as Edie Sedgewick. According to the text of the book, Lichtenstein said hardly anything all night at the party other than “Oh wow!” or “How glamourous!” |
