- Tense Log has been given a complete visual overhaul, including larger text, larger buttons, and more prettiness. The CSS has been greatly optimized in the process.
- The entire help and tool tip system has been redone as well. The new display is much less intrusive and makes it easier to follow along with the instructions.
- Added an option to import entries and categories from WordPress.
- Styles are now much less likely to interfere with your markup in the Edit Log section.
- Your last used markup option is now remembered for you.
- Added an email setting for each log.
- Added a thorough comment spam prevention system, with new options for moderating and deleting comments based on the likelihood they’re spam.
- Images are now displayed using a modified version of Lightbox JS by Lokesh Dhakar.
- Thumbnail images are now updated automatically when the full size image is changed.
- Contact page has been improved and made more secure. Added an option to email the owner of the log.
- “Encoded Text” markup option now encodes curly brackets and single quotes.
- Added the logemail, logcontact, commentcontact, and interval tags.
- Added title, popup, and href attributes to the entryimage and image tags.
- Added excerpt attribute to entrytext tag.
- Added equalto, lessthan, and greaterthan attributes to if tag.
- Comment preview no longer fails if email or web site fields are missing.
- Improved smart paragraph parsing.
- Added rel=“nofollow” to all comment links to discourage comment spam.
- If you don’t check the “remember me” box, you’ll now stay logged in until the browser is closed or you log out manually.
- Curly quotes are now more accurate in certain situations. The first quote in “-2 days” should now display correctly, for example.
- Improved browser detection when logging in.
- The setup script has been improved, and the path.php helper file is now more reliable.
- Fixed errors using GIF images on servers that do not fully support them.
- Fixed a bug where viewing by months or years did not display the correct entries.
- Fixed a bug where the drafts section would show drafts from subscribed categories.
- Fixed a bug where the comments area may not show the correct number of pages.
- Fixed a bug where searches would often fail, and improved flexibility of searches.
- Fixed a bug where folders could not be created directly inside a log’s home folder, or inside the images folder.
- Fixed a bug where recent entries would not display on the main page if the MySQL user didn’t have access to create temporary tables
- Fixed a bug where images would flicker in Internet Explorer with certain settings.
- Fixed various bugs on servers that have register_globals disabled.
- HTML is now removed from log titles where it’s not appropriate.
- Reorganized some files to accomodate for the upcoming Tense Admin store module.
- Added $logmodule = true; to the settings file. This must be added when upgrading!
- The code.utilities.php file is no longer included or supported. With nested categories and the new plug-in architecture, it is now preferable to create sites entirely in Tense Log.
New in Tense Log Uploader 1.1:
- Now remembers your last used log and folder.
- Arrow links now go to the uploads section rather than the public pages, so you can view and edit your uploads easily.
